death, life, Loneliness

Unexpected Departure

Today I read two articles about two deaths that took place on the 8 February 2019 and the early hours of 9 February 2019.

I was saddened by both articles, the first which occurred on 8 February involved a mother of 4 being murdered in front of her child and the second being a UK artist whose life ended in a car accident.

I read of a generous mother who had a passion to raise money for others through her church & an artist who wanted others to be inspired by his work.

Reading both articles broke my heart, sometimes we fail to appreciate just how precious life is and how lucky we are to have people in our lives. We have no control of when our time will come but when that day comes, we leave behind everything we have ever known.

Our end brings chaos, heartbreak and disillusion to the lives of the ones we leave behind.

We live such busy lives and are often caught up with many different things that we forget to check in on the ones we hold dear. We fail to acknowledge how lucky we are to be surrounded by family.

Life is unexpected and the time for our departure is out of our control. Our plans will cease to exist the moment we draw our last breathe.

Live your life to its fullest, being thankful for each day & grateful to all those that do life with you.

MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THE TWO DEATHS.
